Upright City Football Club
***A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization***

We believe in social responsibility through sports and its significant impact on society. We created Upright City FC, a 501(c)(3) to tackle inclusivity and overlooked sectors, such as the elderly population, because we aim to build a culture where all can play.

Soccer is the most popular sport globally, with over 250 million players and 3.5 billion soccer fans worldwide. Those who love the sport are considered family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten!

Seniors Soccer Champions Program

How often are seniors left out of activities that everyone else enjoys?

There is no greater feeling than being part of a team and improving yourself, but unfortunately, many seniors don't get the opportunity. Too many times, seniors have often been left aside and feel excluded from activities that others take for granted. Playing on a soccer program is commonly considered an activity for kids. Upright City FC aims to change that perception by integrating seniors and building a culture where they can play.

Through Upright City's soccer development initiatives we have created a program where seniors, both men, and women, can join free soccer training classes at local parks as a pastime. We want seniors to engage and enjoy the game by getting outdoors, enhancing their motor skills, building confidence, getting exercise, building a team culture, and improving mental and physical health.

Playing soccer offers health benefits; it's an enjoyable recreation activity with low impact exercise, and we want to provide a space where they can feel cared for and included. The program hopes to encourage seniors to get more involved with the sport, stay active, motivated, foster friendships, bring out hidden talents, boost spirit and morale, and create shared memories
